The season of whispers and late night secretive crafting is in the past. My lips were buttoned and zipped up tight, because, I wasn’t spilling the super secretive projects until all my handmade gifts were handed out. I made gifts for too many good guessers and nosy family members. So blame my recipients for missing out on an early sneak peek this year. After all I needed to keep their gifts under wrapping paper and bows. Your wait is over. However, I’m left wishing I had made one of each for me too.
The lucky recipient of this chevron necklace, Bonnie. She pulled my gift at our Christmas party. The theme was to make something under $10 that you pinned on Pinterest.
This is a stick. A stick I found. I found the stick months ago. The stick was found on top of a mountain. I picked this stick over all the other sticks. I knew it was perfect. I had a project in mind. I had to take this stick home. Only one problem. How to get the stick off the mountain. I grasped the stick tightly in my hand. My other hand-held the handle of the quad. I bounced and jolted on the back of the quad. I protected this stick all the way off the mountain. I saw potential in this stick. But I wish I could have taken two sticks.
