My new favorite “treat”, as in, I don’t get it everyday, but, if I could have it that way, I would, is a Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin from Starbucks. I’m convinced that the banana chips are what attract me.
The over ripe bananas taunting me from the kitchen counter were calling out to be baked into yummy muffins. Of coarse the recipie needed a little something extra, dark chocolate chips and the crunchy banana chip topping. This recipie was made from Joanne Chang’s book Flour, Flour’s Famous Banana Bread.
While the muffins baked, I finished cutting out the sugar cookie dough I made the day before. Thanks Mom, I love the Letterpress Cookie cutters I received as a Birthday gift. Y-U-M-M-Y-!
